The 24th session of SLEMA Energy Management Forum was successfully held on 18th October 2018 at SLEMA office with the participation of SLEMA members. At this session, Mr. Rasika Gamage, the Facilities Manager (M&E) of Sri Lankan Airlines Ltd, and the Seminar Secretary of SLEMA, discussed battery regeneration technologies currently used in the industry.
After explaining the basics behind batteries and reasons for battery degradation, he discussed about the advantages of regenerating the batteries over replacing degraded batteries. Mr. Gamage clarified many a queries on the topic raised by the interested participants. The event concluded with SLEMA members taking the opportunity to strengthen the fellowship and sharing their thoughts on contemporary issues in the energy sector.
