The Sri Lanka National Energy Efficiency Awards (SLNEEA) is an annual event conducted by the Sri Lanka Sustainable Energy Authority (SLSEA) to acknowledge individuals and organizations who have made significant attempts on efficient utilization of energy. Sri Lanka National Energy Efficiency Award, Best Energy Services Company Award, and Outstanding Energy Manager of the Year Award are the three categories of awards which are offered at the SLNEEA.
Accredited Energy Managers who have registered at SLSEA are eligible for the Outstanding Energy Manager of the Year Award. Individuals who have led their organizations to adopt good energy management practises are recognized through this award. SLNEEA 2018 was held on 21st August 2018 at BMICH. SLEMA notes with pleasure that Mr. Rukman Chaminda, an Associate Member of SLEMA, won the Outstanding Energy Manager of the Year Award at SLNEEA 2018. Mr. Chaminda joined SLEMA in 2017. He is currently holding the Engineering Manager and Energy Manager positions at Gislaved Gummi Lanka (Pvt) Ltd. SLEMA congratulates him on his achievement!
