The 25th session of SLEMA Energy Management Forum was held on 23rd May 2019 at SLEMA Office in Colombo 8. SLEMA President, Mr.
Ronald Comester and Mr. Asiri Mihindukulasuriya of Ceylon Electricity Board presented the findings of a study which was carried out to
assess power quality issues associated with rooftop solar PV systems in distribution networks. Simulated results of a computer model which
had been verified through field measurements had been used to quantify power quality impacts of solar PV systems. Mitigation measures to avoid impacts on the voltage were discussed at the end of the presentation.
